Torlundy Farm is an organic farm in the Western Highlands of Scotland. We are located about 3 miles North East of Fort William which, together with the Lochaber area, was recently designated the Official Outdoor Capital of the UK. The peaceful location of our country cottages enjoys superb views of Ben Nevis and surrounding mountains and we are very close to the Nevis Range Skiing Area at Anoach Mor.
The Farms stables and grazing pastures amount to 500 acres of scenic
farmland bordered by the River Lochy to the north. Amongst our livestock,
you'll find Cheviot sheep and Highland cattle, a pet pig and a variety
of horses.
We have diversified on our farm to offer the following to self catering, fishing and riding to our vistitors:
Self Catering Accommodation
Great Glen
Chalets - 8 two bedroomed self catering holiday chalets set in a natural
wooded area, each providing accommodation for 4/5 people.
Lone Pine Lodge - set on its own in an elevated
position overlooking the farm. This 3 bedroomed log house provides holiday
accommodation for up to 7 people.
Nevis Lodge - Superb new architects designed
ecolodge set amongst woodland with spectacular views of Ben Nevis from
its full length windows. 4 bedrooms accommodating up to 8 people.
Riding Holidays
Our Andalucian, Hannovarian and Highland horses offer excellent hacking in the grounds of our farm and by the River Lochy. more>>
Trout Fly Fishing
Our trout fishing ponds, with their wonderful reflections of the mountains on a calm morning or evening, add to the overall peaceful ambience of this very special place. We have 3 lochans which are well stocked with rainbow trout and open to the public. Rod hire and instruction is available. more>>
